Newly Named Fox Valley Repertory Celebrates with a Ribbon Cutting Event 1/25

By:

The newly named Fox Valley Repertory (formerly Noble Fool Theatricals) is inviting the Fox Valley area to celebrate their new name and strengthened mission with a free Ribbon Cutting event on Tuesday, January 25 at 4:00pm in the Mainstage Theater (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; admin telephone 630-443-0438).

Hosted by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce with St. Charles Mayor Don Dewitte in attendance, the event will include a mini-performance by Fox Valley Rep's inaugural production Leaving Iowa, a touching comedy about recounting family vacations directed by Chicago's award-winning Rachel Rockwell. The event will conclude with vocal performances by two emerging students in the FVR Performing Arts Academy, Gabriella Marzetta of St. Charles and Sydney Poss of North Aurora.

This past September, Noble Fool Theatricals announced exciting news and a new direction for their nonprofit organization; On January 1, 2011, Noble Fool Theatricals transitioned to Fox Valley Repertory - a name that represents the community they have grown their mission, vision, patron base, and academy students around.

As the professional, nonprofit theater company in residence at Pheasant Run Resort for the seventh year, "we are focused on creating an engaging theater experience by producing shows that inspire our community to laugh, reflect and reconnect to moments in one's life,"says Artistic Director John Gawlik.

Their expanding vision includes a planned three-week Summer Arts Festival and the area's first New Works Project. That vision also includes an expanded Board of Directors.

Fox Valley Repertory at Pheasant Run Resort is located at 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL. Additional organization and performance information may be obtained at www.foxvalleyrep.org.
