'The Lunchbox Theatre Series got a makeover this season,' said Florida Rep Education Director, Rachael Endrizzi. 'Not only are we performing onstage in the Historic Arcade Theatre, but we have a new lunch partner, The Morgan House - and we've added a whole new component with an interactive workshop that will really enhance each child's theatre experience. Florida Rep announced the opening of its popular Lunchbox Theatre Series with And Then They Came for Me by James Still, a multimedia journey into the life and world of Anne Frank.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce a special one-time student matinee performance of Kaufman & Hart's Pulitzer Prize Winning classic, You Can't Take It With You, on Thurs., Feb. 18 at 10:15 am.

Florida Repertory Theatre's Education Department is now enrolling for Two New Sessions of Classes for youth and adults, and has opportunities for children ages 4 and up.

'This really is a magical season for our Children's Theatre Series,' said Education Director, Rachael Endrizzi. 'Later this fall, due to popular demand, we're bringing ZAP! back from last season, we have a spectacular new play that is a twist on the Cinderella story and we're producing our first musical, Schoolhouse Rock Live.'

Florida Rep's Education Department offers theatre classes in the fall, winter and spring that are open to community members of all ages. These classes allow Florida Rep professionals to share their wealth of experience with those who are eager to learn more about theatre. Areas of study include, but are not limited to: improvisation, theatre games, movement, acting for youth, acting for adults and stage makeup. Specialized classes are also offered for home school families as well as parent organizations and playgroups.

'The Glass Menagerie' was Tennessee Williams first critical success, and is an autobiographical portrait of one troubled family struggling to coexist despite inner turmoil in a Depression-wracked and changing America.

'The Glass Menagerie' is one of our greatest works of drama, and we feel it is a play that the our community should see,' said Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo. 'It is a uniquely American story that gives us an important look at Tennessee Williams' first major work and at a very dark period of our country's history.'

Disney's High School Musical is now in session and will be followed up with the ALL NEW Summer intensive (June 23-27), Annie, Jr. (July 7-18), Schoolhouse Rock Live! (July 21-August 1) and Willy Wonka, Jr. (August 4-15).
