On May 19th, the Boston Pops will feature the music of award winning pianist, composer Roger Kellaway at their 'Presidents At Pops' Gala. The piece is called 'We The People' with lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman and will be performed that evening by vocalist Patti Austin. It is the theme for 'Visions of America - A Photo Symphony' which was commissioned by renowned photographer, Joseph Sohm.

Beginning May 24, The George Gee 17-piece Big Band will begin a weekly Monday night engagement at Harlem's newest hotspot - Gospel Uptown/GU LIVE! (Located at 2110 Seventh Avenue @ 125th Street). Featuring jazz and blues vocalist John Dokes (in the style of Joe Williams and Billy Eckstine), George Gee and his big band orchestra pay tribute to the swingin' music of Count Basie, Fletcher Henderson, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman, Chick Webb and many other Savoy Ballroom jazz icons. This marks the return of regular Big Band Jazz to Uptown NYC after a long hiatus.

Los Angeles' Reprise Theatre Company today announced it's 2010-2011 season, which features three classic American musicals at UCLA's Freud Playhouse: 'They're Playing Our Song' (September 28 to October 10, 2010), with music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager and book by Neil Simon, and starring Jason Alexander, the company's Artistic Director; Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's 'Gigi' (February 15 to 27, 2011); and Cole Porter's 'Kiss Me, Kate' (May 10 to 22, 2011), with book by Samuel and Bella Spewack.
