Past 'agenda items' have included the continuing romantic saga of gay penguins at the San Francisco Zoo, a nativity play celebrating the birth of Quentin Crisp, a guide to the so-called 'gay panic' defense, and musical numbers with Poor Baby Bree and Cole Escola. The November show will feature special guest stars Ben Cameron (Aida, Footloose, Wicked, Broadway Sessions with Ben D, Mostly Sondheim at The Duplex), Emily McNamara (The Awesome 80s Prom, Curtain Call at Splash Bar), and Molly Pope (Introducing Molly Pope, The Molly Pope Show, Our Hit Parade at Joe's Pub).

In a two-for-one theater event, Rising Action Theatre is hosting the one-act plays 'Mr. Charles, currently of Palm Beach' by Paul Rudnick and 'Mexico City' by David Leddick.
