The Obie Award-winning Metropolitan Playhouse, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, will present She’s Got Harlem on Her Mind, an evening of three short plays by influential Harlem Renaissance writer Eulalie Spence (1894–1981).
SHE'S GOT HARLEM ON HER MIND, an evening of three award-winning one-act plays, was originally scheduled to run from February 3 through February 27, 2022. The pervasive spread of the COVID-19 Omicron variant, though waning in the New York City metropolitan region, still poses too great a threat to the health of artists and patrons to warrant attempting to stage the production.
Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse will revive three plays of influential Harlem Renaissance writer Eulalie Spence in an evening directed by Timothy Johnson: SHE'S GOT HARLEM ON HER MIND, playing a limited run from February 3 through 27, 2022, in person at the Playhouse: 220 E 4th Street.
