Bob Spiotto - known to thousands of theater professionals and tri-state audiences as the very creative Executive Producer of Hofstra Entertainment (Hofstra University) - will change hats this July as he takes to the Metropolitan Room stage with his new show, 'Shades of Grey: A Tribute to Joel Grey.'

Antony Sher and Tara Fitzgerald Lead BROKEN GLASS

Antony Sher, reprising his role as Phillip Gellburg, and Tara Fitzgerald as Sylvia Gellburg will star in the Tricycle's critically acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's Olivier Award winning Broken Glass. Following a sell out run at the Tricycle Theatre in 2010, Broken Glass, directed by Iqbal Khan, will return for a limited season at the Tricycle from 10 August until 10 September, before transferring to the Vaudeville Theatre.

It was a beautiful Wednesday afternoon in New York, and I was sitting at a small, iron table just south of the TKTS red steps in Times Square. Over my shoulder, the line grew for half-price tickets; I watched tourists gaze up at billboards that I imagined were larger than the buildings in many of their home towns. The sun -- after so many cold months in New York City -- felt incredible on my shoulders. And I smiled, knowing that it was matinee-day, and that I had more some thirty-odd Broadway shows within a five-block radius to choose from.
