Records has announced that it will make a series of vinyl albums and singles available on April 17th exclusively in honor of Record Store Day - a celebration of the unique culture surrounding over 700 independently owned record stores in the USA, and hundreds of similar stores internationally.

The Grosse Pointe Public Library has announced the third program of their Classics Books Lecture Series, 'If We Be Friends: Shakespeare and His Audience,' Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. The talk will be presented by Dr. Ralph Williams, of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the library of Grosse Pointe South High School , 11 Grosse Pointe Boulevard at Fisher Road in Grosse Pointe Farms . John Simm will make his Sheffield Crucible stage debut as Hamlet in September 2010. The production will reunite him with Sheffield's Associate Director Paul Miller - the two last collaborated on Elling which originated at the Bush Theatre before transferring to the West End. Simm was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actor for this role.
