Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Kevin E. Moore announce the cast and creative team for The Magic Play. Featuring magic created by Brett Schneider, The Magic Play by Andrew Hinderaker will be directed by Halena Kays. Performances begin January 23 and run through February 11 in the Pamela Brown Auditorium, as part of the Brown-Forman Series. Boogla Nights Productions will present the World Premiere of June Daniel White's new comedy DELTA IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS or Maybe Not at Theatre 54 at Shetler Studios from January 25th through February 10th. Directed by Michael Padden, the darkly romantic play stars beloved veteran actor Austin Pendleton as 'God' with Ms. White as 'Delta', Bob D'Haene (Lyle), Regina Gibson (Hollywood), Melissa Hurst (Bobbie), Joan Porter (Rosie) and Vincent Tacali (Tommy/Ralph).

Theater For the New City (TNC) presents the world premiere engagement of AMERICA'S FAVORITE NEWSCASTER, a new musical with book and lyrics by Tom Attea, music by Arthur Abrams, and directed by Mark Marcante (the creative team behind the acclaimed Heather Smiley For President, Living in a Musical, An American Worker, etc.). Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the seventh annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written and directed by emerging artists, as well as post-show receptions. The Reading Series will feature new works by Selina Fillinger, Harrison David Rivers, Korde Arrington Tuttle, Calamity West and Daniel Zaitchik.

Producers Ryan Murphy and David Stone have announced that Charlie Carver ('The Leftovers,' 'Teen Wolf') will complete the cast of the 50th Anniversary production of Mart Crowley's groundbreaking play, The Boys in the Band. Carver will play the role of Cowboy.
