Playwright Tony Kushner hopes audiences will be as enthralled by the stage magic in THE ILLUSION as he is. In this new video, just out from Signature, Kushner discusses the importance of creating the duality of reality and fiction on stage, conjuring a form of 'rational skepticism' that leads the audience to a surprising conclusion.
The production features scenic design by Christine Jones, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kevin Adams, sound design by Bray Poor and fight direction by Rick Sordelet.
