Stark Naked Theatre Company opens its fifth season with the Regional premiere of Bess Wohl's Small Mouth Sounds. Critics praised Small Mouth Sounds in its world premiere earlier this year, calling it "wry and observant" and "long on emotions."

Philip Lehl and Kim Tobin-Lehl, co-Artistic Directors of Stark Naked Theatre Company, are proud to announce the exciting line-up of plays selected for the theatre's fifth season.

Walking up to this warehouse building in the downtown area I was excited. Was I in the East Village seeing a production at La MaMa, or I was in the Bayou City seeing The Stark Naked Theatre Company's production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM? From the rugged factory exterior of the venue to the perfectly designed industrial theatre space I was in artistic heaven.

TUTS Underground, in association with Third Coast Creative, presents LMNOP - A New Muzical, April 7 - 19 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center. Chaos arises when letters begin to fall from a town monument and government officials ban them one by one. The community depends on the strength of a determined teenage girl to fight for their freedom of speech. This unique musical is part romance, part clever word game and part adult fable that reminds us of how precious our liberties are and how important it is to have the courage to stand up for what we believe.

Stark Naked Theatre Company continues its fourth season with a compelling production of one of William Shakespeare's most beloved plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Co-directed by Philip Lehl and Kim Tobin-Lehl, and produced in collaboration with the University of Houston, A Midsummer Night's Dream previews on March 5th, opens on March 6th, and runs through March 21st at STUDIO 101.
