Alces Productions announces that due to serious cast illness it is postponing the opening of its forthcoming production of John Van Druten's classic comedy about witchcraft and romance, Bell, Book and Candle to Thursday, 10th November. As a result of illness, Christine Lohr is unable to continue in the role of Aunt ‘Queenie' Holroyd. She is replaced by Carole Street, an actress of considerable experience in numerous London Off-West End venues.
