IF/THEN, BEAUTIFUL & More Set for Broadway Philadelphia's 2015-16 Season

The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization today announced the 2015-2016 Broadway Philadelphia season, featuring a spectacular lineup of Tony Award winning Broadway hits. The upcoming season features productions with a combined 46 Tony nominations, and will introduce six brand-new national touring shows making their Philadelphia premieres. Subscribers receive priority access to all shows. Season ticket packages are on sale now.

Alex Sharp Will Host Shubert Foundation's First High School Theatre Festival

The first annual Shubert Foundation High School Theatre Festival for New York City Public Schools will take place on Monday, March 9 at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street) at 7:00 p.m. More than 100 talented students from five select New York City high schools will make their Broadway debuts.

The 44th annual Theater Hall of Fame gala and induction ceremony will be held tonight, January 26, at the Gershwin Theater, honoring director/choreographer Susan Stroman, actors F. Murray Abraham, Alvin Epstein and Blythe Danner, former theatre critic Frank Rich, chairman of the Shubert Organization Philip J. Smith, playwright Alfred Uhry and director Marshall W. Mason.

John Lithgow & The Rudin Family Honored Tonight at New 42nd Street's 2015 Gala

The New 42nd Street's annual Gala will be held tonight, January 12 at The New Victory Theater, to honor Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award-winner John Lithgow with the New Victory Arts Award for his work in 'bringing kids to the arts and the arts to kids.' The New 42nd Street will also honor The Rudin Family with the inaugural Marian Heiskell Award for their role in shaping the future of New York City. Glenn Close will serve as Gala honorary chair.

Judy Collins & Shubert President Robert Wankel to be Honored at Town Hall's 92nd Annual Gala, 10/20

On Sunday, October 20 at The Princeton Club (15 West 43rd Street) just down the street from the landmark NYC venue, The Town Hall will have its 92nd Annual Gala Celebration as they honor Grammy Award-winning singer Judy Collins and The Shubert Organization PresidentRobert Wankel with The Town Hall's 2013 Friend of the Arts Awards. Award-winning cabaret, concert and recording artist KT Sullivanwill kick off the special celebration at 4pm with her latest cabaret act, "Autumn in New York" which will be followed by cocktails and h'orderves, dinner and the awards presentation.

Breaking News: LES MISERABLES to Return to Broadway's Imperial Theatre; Opening Night Set for March 23, 2014!

Cameron Mackintosh announced today that his acclaimed new production of Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece LES MISERABLES will return to the Imperial Theatre, the show's home on Broadway for nearly 13 years and 5244 performances. Previews for the new production of LES MISERABLES will begin Saturday, March 1 with an official opening night Sunday, March 23. The original New York production of LES MISERABLES premiered first at the Broadway Theatre on March 12, 1987, later moving to the Imperial on October 17, 1990, where it played until May 18, 2003, for a total Broadway run of 6680 performances. The casting process for the new production has begun and will be completed later this summer.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY Makes Philly Premiere at Academy of Music, Now thru 3/24

THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, will make its Philadelphia premiere tonight, March 19 - 24 at the Academy of Music as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization. The press opening is tonight, March 19 at 7:30 p.m.
