Roundabout Theatre Company, in association with Ryan Murphy, has announced final casting for Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night, starring Academy and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange as 'Mary Tyrone,' Golden Globe winner and Tony Award nominee Gabriel Byrne as 'James Tyrone,' Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon as 'James Tyrone, Jr.,' and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. as 'Edmund Tyrone.' Colby Minifie joins the previously announced cast as 'Cathleen.' Jonathan Kent will direct, as part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th anniversary season.

Judson Theatre Company (Morgan Sills, Executive Producer and Daniel Haley, Artistic Director) has announced the stars of their Fifth Anniversary Season: John Davidson in On Golden Pond and John Wesley Shipp in Twelve Angry Men. On Golden Pond opens Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, March 27. Twelve Angry Men opens Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 7:00 pm and runs through Sunday, September 25. Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT -- featuring Academy and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange as 'Mary Tyrone' -- has been pushed back and will now begin previews on Broadway on Thursday, March 31, 2016, with an official opening set for Tuesday, April 27, 2016.

ABC will develop a half-hour comedy series for a sequel to the 1997 feature film MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING. Academy Award winner Ron Bass, who penned the movie, will co-write the pilot with Jessica Amento.

In honor of the legendary actress, comedian, singer and writer Carol Burnett, Center Theatre Group is hosting a special tribute to the star's late daughter Carrie Hamilton with a one-night-only reading of Burnett and Hamilton's Broadway play "Hollywood Arms," at the Mark Taper Forum on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 7 p.m. Inspired by Burnett's early life in Hollywood, "Hollywood Arms" will be directed by Jason Alexander and will feature a star- studded cast (to be announced).

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) opens the nomination process for The Zelda Fichandler Award on May 14, 2014. This award presents an unrestricted grant of $5000 to an outstanding director or choreographer making an exceptional contribution to the national arts landscape through theatre work in a region. In 2014, the award will honor achievement in the Eastern region, comprised of Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia.
