Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has announced that the Kander and Ebb review The World Goes 'Roundwill begin performances this Thursday, June 27th. The musical revue features a star studded cast including Michelle Aravena, Janine DiVita, Tony Award nominee Tom Hewitt,David Josefsberg, and Tony Award nominee Emily Skinner with direction by Don Stephenson.

MCC Theater presented its annual Miscast gala last night, March 4, 2013 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street). Miscast 2013 honored Tony Award winner Judith Light (Other Desert Cities) for her illustrious screen and stage career (appearing on Broadway this year for her third straight season, this time in Richard Greenberg's upcoming The Assembled Parties), her work with MCC Theater (acclaimed performances in Colder Than Here and Wit), and her impassioned advocacy of several causes, including Arts in Education.

MCC Theater has announced a starry line-up of performers for its annual Miscast gala, to be held Monday, March 4, 2013 at The Hammerstein Ballroom (311 West 34th Street).
From the writer of DreamWorks' hit science-fiction parody Galaxy Quest comes an original musical comedy, The First Gentleman. Starring Emmy Award winning Actress Sally Struthers as The First Gentleman's Chief of Staff. Michelle Duffy as President Kathryn Cassidy. Steven Ted Beckler in the title role of Russell Cassidy and Daniel Quadrino as their son, Steven Cassidy. Featured roles are played by Inga Ballard, Nick Sullivan, Jane Blass, Kevin Carolan, Howard Kaye, Dan Debenport, Jillian Mueller, Brandon Kelly, Mark Campbell, Jennifer Dinoia, Richard Cerato, L.R. Davidson, Jessica Dillan, and Matt Stocke.
Additional casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter's timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece, which will make its Cleveland premiere October 2, 2012 at PlayhouseSquare as part of the KeyBank Broadway Series. Previously announced actress Rachel York will star as Reno Sweeney and Fred Applegate will star as Moonface Martin. The principal cast also includes Erich Bergen as Billy Crocker, Jeff Brooks as Purser, Joyce Chittick as Erma, Alex Finke as Hope Harcourt, Dennis Kelly as Elisha Whitney, Vincent Rodriguez III as Luke, Marcus Shane as John, Sandra Shipley as Mrs. Evangeline Harcourt, Edward Staudenmayer as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, and Chuck Wagner as Captain.
