So let me see... When was the last time I had the honor of being the blogger of the month? Oh yeah, just about a year ago when I flew off to play Bert in Los Angeles on the tour of Mary Poppins, which just closed in Alaska on Sunday the 2nd of June.

Dallas Theater Center announced the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Fly, a new musical based on J.M. Barrie's novel, Peter Pan. Three-time Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights) makes his directorial debut with this production.

BBC AMERICA announced today the channel will premiere new co-production In The Flesh and the final season of the hit original Being Human series this summer as part of Supernatural Saturday. The new three-part drama, In the Flesh, created and written by Dominic Mitchell, is set after a zombie uprising where treated zombies are rehabilitated back into society. The upcoming co-productions announcement was made following the successful launch of the channel's new Supernatural Saturday line-up with new episodes of the Peabody-winning series Doctor Who, new original series Orphan Black and new original series The Nerdist.

Opening Thursday, January 17th, 2013 and running until Sunday, February 3rd, 2013, Alemaedae Theater & Xavier Films present in cooperation with Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP), the hilarious comedy stage play The Wonderful World of Peter Williams. The play, a highly anticipated prequel to the hit comedy stage play So Fierce: Peter Williams, was written and produced by Alemaedae Theater's CEO / Founder Phil Davis Sr. and stars RLTP Ensemble member Barry Williams as Peter Williams. The play will be presented at the Road Less Traveled Theater, in Downtown Buffalo's Theatre District.

Whenever you see a production presented by the Gateway Theatre, you're in for a wonderful event. Their current musical, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, based on the Paramount Pictures film, is no exception. This David Ruttura directed production is even fortunate to have the original sets and choreography as the Broadway showing (more on that later).

San Diego Musical Theatre announces the final production of their 2012 season Irving Berlin'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, December 13-23, 2012 (press opening on December 14) at the Birch North Park Theatre. Overall, 'Irving Berlin's White Christmas' is a step above your average holiday fare. Even if it left me wanting more, one does have to appreciate the music and dancing talent involved and any show which features Berlin's classic tunes is worthy of attention.

WHITE CHRISTMAS, now playing at Zach's Topfer Theatre, is the best of the best. It's a fun, dazzling, family-friendly celebration of not only the Holiday season but of the golden age of Broadway and Hollywood as well.

Casting is complete, and rehearsals are underway for the Long Island premiere of "Irving Berlin's White Christmas," playing tonight, Dec. 14-30, at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Lakewood Theatre Company continues its 60th season with a reprise production of last year's holiday hit, Irving Berlin's White Christmas. White Christmas , always a treat on film (1954), creates a unique and refreshing glow on stage. The touring and original Broadway productions, which played Los Angeles only once at the Pantages, in 2005 were gloriously directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Randy Skinner, who turned the second act opener 'I Love a Piano' into one of the most inventive & lively tap sequences ever. Now on stage at the Norris Theatre in Palos Verdes the local company has created a fresh sparkling production with even direction from Randy Brenner and zestful tap choreography from Kami Seymour. The sturdy acting company makes this production a pleasantly frothy confection playing through December 16 only - sadly, you only have one more weekend to catch it, so get your tickets immediately!

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents a stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, Irving Berlin's White Christmas in the Kennedy Center Opera House.
