National Inclusion Project to Host 10th Anniversary Champions Gala, 10/12

The National Inclusion Project is teaming with the Foundation for Respect Ability to musically demonstrate what inclusion is all about at their 10th Anniversary Champions Gala on October 12, 2013 in Charlotte, N.C. The performance will feature an inclusive group of Charlotte school children singing multiple songs about respect for all children, including 'Don't Laugh at Me' along with Sid Krupkin, the Foundation for Respect Ability's Artistic and Education Director.

Museum of the City of New York Presents Folk Concert Tonight

The Museum of the City of New York today announced a star-studded line-up of musicians and writers for a special concert to benefit the upcoming exhibition Folk City. The concert will be held at 8:00 PM tonight, June 20th at the New York Academy of Medicine at 1216 Fifth Avenue at 103rd Street.

Kirkland PAC Announce 2013 Season Lineup

"Puff the Magic Dragon" singer-songwriter Peter Yarrow and Pulitzer Prize winning musicians eighth blackbird both perform in the next two weeks at the Kirkland Performance Center. There's also a world premier new work by Seattle-based Khambatta Dance Co. and hilarious political commentary with Mark Russell. There wouldn't be John Stewart and Stephen Colbert without Mark Russell! VIP Tickets are available for Mark Russell on January 24 are $75. Quantities are limited and VIP patrons receive prime seating and the opportunity to meet the artists after the show. The Town Hall, New York City's landmark theatre and concert venue (123 West 43rd Street) honors two influential individuals: Dr. Charlotte K Frank, Senior Vice President of McGraw Hill and Chair of the Town Hall Arts and Education Committee, and Marvin Leffler, in recognition of 34 years as President of The Town Hall. They will receive The Town Hall's 'Friend of the Arts' Award tonight, October 21st, 2012.
