ANAIS CHALENDARD, first soloist of the Boston Ballet, and LASHA KHOZASHVILI, principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, will appear as guest artists in the Bay Pointe Ballet's Gala at the Oshman Community Center Palo Alto, Albert & Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall in Palo Alto, California tonight, October 1, 2015.

The Royal Opera House Live Cinema Season 2015/16 is the most ambitious to date. Six ballets and six operas, including five new productions, will be screened in over 1,000 cinemas across 45 countries allowing audiences in the US to experience more opera and ballet from the Royal Opera House than ever before.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park opens its 2015-16 season with the heartwarming, soaring musical THE SECRET GARDEN, based on the enduring family classic penned more than a century ago by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Winner of three Tony Awards on Broadway, with book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Marsha Normanand music by Lucy Simon, THE SECRET GARDEN runs Sept. 5-Oct. 3 in the Playhouse's Robert S. Ms. Chalendard and Mr. Khozashvili will dance the White Swan Pas de Deux from Swan Lake, and Don Quixote Pas de Deux.

Pearl Buck, the Nobel Prize winning author, once wrote that 'if you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday.' Which is what Australian Ballet Artistic Director David McAllister has attempted with his new production of Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty, which will premiere in Melbourne, Australia, on September 15 2015, before touring to Perth from October 7-10, and Sydney from November 17-December 16.

The official opening night of Cameron Mackintosh and Michael Harrison's production of the musical Barnum at Birmingham Hippodrome was made even more special as one of the show's producers, Michael Harrison, paid tribute to its star BRIAN CONLEY who this month celebrates an outstanding 600th performance at the UK's most visited theatre.

FRANCES CHUNG and TIIT HELIMETS, principal dancers of the San Francisco Ballet, will appear as guest artists in the Allen Civic Ballet/Allen Philharmonic's joint production of Swan Lake Act III on May 16, 2015 at the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School in Allen, Texas. Ms. Chung and Mr. Helimets will be dancing the Black Swan Pas de Deux as part of this production. Ms. Chung and Mr. Helimets will also teach master classes prior to this performance.

SASHA DE SOLA, soloist of the San Francisco Ballet, and TIIT HELIMETS, principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet, will appear in a joint production with the Allen Civic Ballet and the Allen Philharmonic, dancing the Black Swan Pas de Deux in Act III of Swan Lake on May 16, 2015 at the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School in Allen, Texas. As part of their residency, both Ms. De Sola and Mr. Helimets will also be teaching master classes.

The Joyce Theater Foundation presents the long-awaited NYC return of the UK's Royal Ballet – first time in over 11 years – at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center beginning with a gala performance on June 23, followed by two mix-billed programs of works by Frederick Ashton, Kenneth MacMillan, Wayne McGregor, Liam Scarlett and Christopher Wheeldon through June 28. Kansas City Ballet is pleased to announce that Grace Holmes, previously Professor of Dance at University of Texas at Austin, assumed the role of Kansas City Ballet School Director beginning September 1, 2014. Her responsibilities will include oversight of the Academy, the Kansas City Youth Ballet, the newly created Trainee Program, the Studio Division and the summer programs for the more than 600 children, young adults and adults in the downtown Bolender Center campus and the Johnson County campus.

GINGER THATCHER, former principal dancer of the Cleveland Ballet and former soloist of the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, and PHILLIP BROOMHEAD, former principal dancer of the Royal Ballet and the Houston Ballet, will members of the faculty for the Goh Ballet Academy's Summer Program in Vancouver, Canada from July 7-August 9, 2014.
