The Guthrie today announced the complete cast and creative team for Caroline, or Change, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner's deeply personal story, featuring music by three-time Tony Award-nominated composer Jeanine Tesori (Shrek the Musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie).

Guthrie Director Joe Dowling today announced casting for the three productions slated to headline the theater?s Tony Kushner Celebration. A company of more than 25 Minneapolis and New York actors will come together at the Guthrie from April through June to participate in a one-of-a-kind celebration the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright?s work. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, Dancing at Lughnasa is a memory play told through the eyes of Michael Evans, now a man, who recalls the summer he spent with his mother and her four maiden sisters in a tiny and impoverished Irish home in 1936. Set against the backdrop of the pagan festival of Lughnasa, the story of changing times and the strength of one family's bond unfolds as the music of their first wireless set casts its spell under the hot August sun.

'Indian Blood is a Norman Rockwell painting onstage,' said Producing Artistic Director, Robert Cacioppo, 'and it is really very funny. It's a uniquely nostalgic play that has a perfect message for the holidays.'

The Guthrie's Shadowlands, directed by Joe Dowling stars Simon Jones (The Home Place, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy") playing C.S. Lewis alongside Guthrie favorite Charity Jones (Jane Eyre, A Christmas Carol), who plays his wife Joy Gresham Davidman. Shadowlands began previews November 1, opening November 7 and continuing through December 21 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.
