“Good Trouble” will return for more trouble in its highly anticipated sophomore season on TUESDAY, JUNE 18, at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Freeform. “Good Trouble” follows Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles, as Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech and Callie faces the harsh realities of the federal legal system clerking for a federal judge. After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all that it's cracked up to be. “Good Trouble” stars Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez, Tommy Martinez, Sherry Cola, Zuri Adele and Roger Bart. “Good Trouble” is executive produced by Joanna Johnson, Peter Paige, Bradley Bredeweg, Christine Sacani, Gregory Gugliotta, Maia Mitchell, Cierra Ramirez, Jennifer Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina. The season one finale airs Tuesday, April 2, at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Freeform.

Freeform Announces Panels for Second Annual Summit

Freeform announced today its panels and participants for the second annual Freeform Summit, a network and industrywide event featuring some of the biggest names at the forefront of the network's 2019 programming slate, to be held in Hollywood on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27. Themed “A Stage for Everyone,” the event will serve as an “UnPageant,” which aims to revolutionize the concept of a beauty pageant and redefine the status quo. Panels will deliver candid conversations focusing on authentic storytelling, inclusion and representation, and emphasize how far young adults have pushed society to reexamine cultural norms. Also contributing to the conversations will be key influencers and tastemakers who have impacted change through their platforms and are helping shape the future of media.

At a reception at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival today, the beneficiaries of $70,000 in grants from Sundance Institute and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation were revealed. Doron Weber, Sloan Vice President of Programs and Director of the Public Understanding of Science and Technology program, presented the Feature Film Prize to The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind and announced the new winners: Skye Emerson for Challenger and Gillian Weeks for The New Miracle (Sundance Institute | Sloan Commissioning Grant); Anthony Onah for Goliath (Sundance Institute | Sloan Lab Fellowship); and Neilkanth Dave and Zachary Parris for DELTA-V (Sundance Institute | Sloan Episodic Storytelling Grant). Chiwetel Ejiofor's The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind was formally presented with a $20,000 check for winning the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Film Prize, as previously announced.

December marks the first anniversary of the opening of Boston University's Joan & Edgar Booth Theatre Complex which includes the College of Fine Arts Production Center.  The 75,000-square-foot state-of-the-art theater complex, designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects, has a 250-seat theater, production and costume shops, design labs, classrooms, faculty offices, and a landscaped plaza.
