New York City Ballet will present the fourth installation of its acclaimed Art Series initiative during the Company's 2016 Winter Season. Launched in 2013, the New York City Ballet Art Series features annual collaborations between NYCB and contemporary visual artists who create original works for exhibition at the Company's home, the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

Broadway royalty Terrence Mann (star of Broadway's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, LES MISERABLES, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, CATS, and next season's TUCK EVERLASTING) and Charlotte d'Amboise (star of Broadway's PIPPIN, CHICAGO, SWEET CHARITY, A CHORUS LINE and CONTACT) are coming to Lynchburg, VA, February 1-2, 2016.

On Christmas Day, Lincoln Center will share the warmth of the holiday season when it brings New York City Ballet's exquisite production of George Balanchine's THE NUTCRACKER to approximately 400,000 members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families serving abroad in 175 countries and U.S. territories, via AFN, the American Forces Network.

New York City Ballet's Georgina Pazcoguin will join American Dance Machine for the 21st Century at a special guest artist during their return to the Joyce Theater (175 8th Avenue), December 21, 2015 - January 3. 2016. Known for her wide range of dramatic and dynamic roles as a soloist at NYCB, including Anita in Jerome Robbins' West Side Story Suite, Pazcoguin will perform in all of the evening shows, in which she will be featured in the Chita Rivera role in Jack Cole's 'Beale Street Blues,' Victoria's solo from Cats, and Jerome Robbins' 'Mr. Monotony.'

Enchanting generations of wide-eyed children and adults alike, New York City Ballet's dazzling production of George Balanchine's THE NUTCRACKER plays to sold-out houses each holiday season in New York. Now audiences across the country will have the opportunity to enjoy the timeless tale set to Tschaikovsky's memorable music when it comes to movie screens nationwide for two screenings: Saturday, December 5 at 12:55 pm and Thursday, December 10 at 7:00 pm, as a presentation of Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance. Featured in the cast are ON THE TOWN star Megan Fairchild as the Sugarplum Fairy, with Joaquin De Luz as Her Cavalier and Ashley Bouder as Dewdrop.

BalletCollective will present two world premieres ballets by Troy Schumacher tonight and tomorrow, November 4 and 5, 2015 at NYU Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square.

Artistic Director and choreographer Charles Anderson's award-winning Company C Contemporary Ballet will present the world premiere of his new, evening-length story ballet, Arcane: A Tale of All Hallows' Eve in seven performances tonight, October 24, through October 31 at the Cowell Theater in San Francisco.

The program will run on the following five Monday evenings at 6:30PM-8:00PM: November 16th, 2015, December 14th, 2015, February 8th, 2016, April 4th, 2016, and June 6th, 2016. Space is limited. To enhance the Lincoln Center at the Movies experience for audiences of all ages, Lincoln Center Education has created interactive guides to accompany screenings of the Great American Dance series.

The NY Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies, New York City's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, announce the lineup of special guests for the 2015 ceremony. Acclaimed former New York City Ballet principal Jock Soto and performance artist and playwright Carmelita Tropicana will host the event. The 31st Annual Bessie Awards will be held on Monday, October 19, at 7:30pm, at the legendary Apollo Theater in New York City. Doors open at 6:30pm for red carpet and pre-show celebrations.

Philadelphia, PA (September 15, 2015) – Pennsylvania Ballet and Artistic Director Angel Corella are pleased to announce that Charles Askegard, former Principal Dancer at New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theater, will be joining the Company as Ballet Master. Kyra Nichols, former New York City Ballet Principal Dancer, will also expand her role by becoming a Ballet Master and five new dancers have joined the Company for the 2015-2016 Season.

Robert Fairchild, who received a Tony nomination for his role in Broadway's An American in Paris, will return to Lincoln Center's New York City Ballet this fall for three 'Broadway-flavored' performances.

San Francisco, CA, August 4, 2015 – Artistic Director and choreographer Charles Anderson's award-winning Company C Contemporary Ballet will present the world premiere of his new, evening-length story ballet, Arcane: A Tale of All Hallows' Eve in seven performances October 24-31 at the Cowell Theater in San Francisco. The production features an original story and choreography by Anderson, a commissioned musical score by Mike Krisukas of Zen for Primates, steam punk-inspired set and lighting designs by Patrick Toebe and the costumes by Laura Hazlet and will be performed by a company of 16 dancers, 9 musicians and narrator.
