During the summer of 2016, New York City Ballet made a triumphant return to Paris for a three-week season at the historic Thtre du Chtelet.

New York City Ballet will present the fifth installment of its acclaimed Art Series initiative during the Company's 2017 Winter Season. Launched in 2013, New York City Ballet's Art Series features annual collaborations between NYCB and contemporary visual artists who create original works for exhibition at the Company's home, the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

Third Coast Percussion, a vibrant, virtuosic ensemble devoted to exploring and expanding the sonic possibilities of the percussion repertoire, has received its first Grammy Award nomination.

 The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC announces the 2017 Master Class series in residence with Principal Ballet Dancers. The classes will be held at The Performing Arts School at bergenPAC-1 Depot Square, Englewood, NJ 07631. 

Juilliard Dance, under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes, presents New Dances: Edition 2016 featuring four world-premiere dances by choreographers John Heginbotham (First-Year Dancers), Katarzyna Skarpetowska, (Second-Year Dancers), Pam Tanowitz (Third-Year Dancers), and Matthew Neenan (Fourth-Year Dancers).  Heginbotham and Skarpetowska are Juilliard alums, and Tanowitz and Neenan are returning as New Dances choreographers. 

Stars of stage and screen Gina Gershon and Lucy DeVito have been added to the cast of New York's Celebrity Autobiography for the upcoming NYC performance on November 21 at 7pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street).

Third Coast Percussion, the acclaimed young ensemble from Chicago, joins forces with Glasgow's Cathie Boyd and her arts organization, Cryptic, for 'See You Later', an evening of new music presented visually as a staged concert. 'See You Later' asks the question, what if you could see music? Where else but the fertile soil of Peak Performance could such a daring enterprise bloom?

On Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 3pm and 7:30pm and Monday, November 14, 2016 at 7:30pm, Works & Process at the Guggenheim presents Working in Process/ New Bodies, the culmination and World Premiere of choreographer Jodi Melnick's Works & Process residency with dancers Sara Mearns, Jared Angle, and Gretchen Smith at the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Peter B. Lewis Theater. Melnick's work weaves dance, spoken text, and moderated discussion with Claudia La Rocco, with live music for harpsichord by composer Gyorgy Ligeti, violin by composer Heinrich Biber, and newly commissioned music by Robert Boston.

New York's funniest show Celebrity Autobiography has a NYC show on November 21 at 7pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street) which will feature stars of stage and screen Susan Lucci, Tate Donovan (who appears in the upcoming film Manchester by the Sea with Matt Damon), Michael Urie, five-time Emmy-winner and comedy legend Alan Zwiebel and Drama Desk-winners Eugene Pack, and Dayle Reyfel.

The year will be sent off with a bang - literally - on November 20when 250 of South Australia's best young musicians come together on stage for Adelaide Youth Orchestras' Gala Concert: Celebrate at the Adelaide Town Hall.

On Monday, October 10 at 9pm at The Triad (158 West 72nd Street), Lee Summers' Just A Piano Concert Series is celebrating its 10th Anniversary in a Benefit Concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS with ten Broadway Performers, representing each year.

The Suzanne Farrell Ballet performed a staging-in-process showing of the second movement of the rarely seen George Balanchine ballet, Gounod Symphony, on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the NYU Skirball Center. Presented in collaboration with The Center for Ballet and the Arts at New York University, the revived work will premiere in full at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.  October 21-23, 2016

New York's funniest show Celebrity Autobiography had two special performances last week in The Hamptons on Friday, August 26 at 7pm & 9:30pm at Guild Hall, which featured stars of stage and screen Christie Brinkley, Susan Lucci, Brooke Shields, Colin Jost, Dick Cavett, Tovah Feldshuh, Richard Kind and Drama Desk-winners Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel. The presentation of Charles Messina's The Wanderer, about the life and music of Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dion DiMucci, has added some top notch talent to an already stellar cast of Broadway, Television and Film stars.  Among the additions to the cast are original Saturday Night Live writer and actor Alan Zweibel, Labyrinth Theater Company co-founder David Deblinger, Dan Daily, Craig Rivela, Emma Ayars, Joey Ama Dio, Francesa D'Angelo, Adam Weppler and RJ Woessner.

Single-show ticket on-sale for Miami City Ballet's 2016-17 season began at midnight on July 6.
