Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Great Neck Arts Center (GNAC) hosts its annual gala fundraiser, 'Stars of Broadway,' on Monday November 10, at The Tilles Center at the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University. The event -- which includes a VIP cocktail reception, dinner and show will generate support for GNAC's flourishing arts programs that serve thousands of Nassau, Suffolk and Queens residents each month.

Production begins today on location in Minnesota on A Serious Man, for Focus Features and Working Title Films. The producers of Hairspray, winner of eight Tony Awards® including Best Musical, have announced that teen idol Ashley Parker Angel will play his final performance as dreamy Link Larkin on Sunday, September 14 at the Neil Simon Theatre after more than a year and half with the musical. Angel played his first performance, and made his Broadway debut, Friday, January 19, 2007.
