Broadway actor/song and dance man/award winning playwright, Robert Creighton, and special guests: Erin Mackey (Wicked and upcoming in Anything Goes), Laura Osnes (Bonnie and Clyde), Arbender Robinson (Hair), Heidi Blickenstaff (The Addams Family, The Little Mermaid), Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls) will be performing at The Metropolitan Room.

Broadway's ROBERT CREIGHTO, celebrates the February 14 release of his debut CD, "Ain't We got Fun!" (LML Music), with two performances at New York City's Metropolitan Room, February 12 and 13 at 9:30pm. Creighton has appeared in a non-stop string of six Broadway shows, including, currently, as the Purser in Anything Goes. Fellow cast member JOEL GREY appears on "Ain't We Got Fun!" singing "Give My Regards To Broadway". On both nights, a five piece band and special guests will appear with Creighton to celebrate the occasion. The Metropolitan Room is located at: 34 West 22nd Street, NYC. LML Music is announcing the February 14, 2012 release of "Ain't We Got Fun!", the debut CD of actor/singer/dancer/writer/composer, Robert Creighton.

The 34th annual Carbonell Awards, South Florida's oldest and most prestigious arts honors, were bestowed in a ceremony at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in a benefit performance which raises scholarships for South Florida arts students.

Les Miserables at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre in Coral Gables led the pack with a dozen nominations. Broadsword at Miami's Mad Cat Theatre Company and Why Torture is Wrong and the People Who Love Them at Plantation's Mosaic Theatre tied with five nods each as the most recognized plays for the annual honors to be held on Monday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.

2009 could go down as the year of the musical with seven of the top 10 nominated shows edging out the edgier dramas for the 34th annual Carbonell Awards nominations celebrating the best shows and performances in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The Edgerton Foundation has announced their selected plays for 2008. The plays listed below are funded by the Edgerton Foundation's New American Play Awards. Since 2006, this funding program has provided over twenty TCG member theatres with financial resources to increase rehearsal time with the full production team onsite at the theatre. More recipients will be added soon.
