From June 16 to July 17, Cath Farr for Good Night Out will present the UK premiere of Jack Hibberd's play A STRETCH OF THE IMAGINATION at the Cock Tavern Theatre in London. The production will be directed by, designed by, and starring Mark Little.

'I murdered Mozart!' rings out across Europe from Composer Antonio Salieri on his death-bed. Salieri had been the toast of Europe. He had been a devout Catholic all his life. He made a pact with God that he would be the vessel through which God's music would spring. All was good until Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart arrives in Vienna. In horror Salieri determines that it is Mozart instead who is his God's chosen voice. Mozart's music proves it; God had broken their pact. Salieri now makes a terrible new vow: to block God on earth and teach Him a lesson, using Mozart as the means to that end.

Joe's Pub announces their line-up from July 6th to the 8th. Performances include Chris Rael, Kelli Scarr, Rachel Platten and Nick Howard as well as the Happy Ending Music and Reading Series. Joe's Pub is located at 425 Lafayette Street.

The Courtyard Theatre presents the British premiere of Mother of Him by Evan Placey and directed by Guy Retallack. Winner of both the King's Cross Award for New Playwriting in the UK and Canada's Under 30 National Playwriting Award, Mother of Him, by Evan Placey, will get its British premiere, in a production, directed by Guy Retallack, at the Courtyard?Theatre from Wednesday 2 June to Sunday 4 July.

J T Rogers' award-winning Madagascar will be given its UK premiere at Theatre503 from 11th May to 5th June, 2010.

'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' Shakespeare's rollicking fantasy of ardent lovers, bumbling actors and conjuring fairies, will be recreated against the backdrop of social revolution and sensuality in 1959 New Orleans by the Theatre and Interpretation Center (TIC) of Northwestern University.

NVA's Ninth Season concludes with Tennessee Williams's American classic SUMMER AND SMOKE, directed by NVA Executive Artistic Director Kristianne Kurner. SUMMER AND SMOKE features Williams's most complex female character in Alma Winemiller, the minister's daughter caught up in a romantic relationship with the hedonistic doctor next door.

Following Time Out Critics' Choice at the White Bear Theatre and a transfer to Oval House, Good Night Out will close its new re-imagined production of Daniel Reitz's STUDIES FOR A PORTRAIT after an eight-week run at the King's Head Theatre, May 23rd.

THE LITTLE HUT by André Roussin and adapted by Nancy Mitford will play The Greenwich Theatre April 20-24, The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre April 26-May 1, the Theatre Royal May 4-May 8, and the Rose Theatre May 10-15.

Singer/songwriter Billy Bragg will look at English identity and loyalty in the new drama PRESSURE DROP, premiering in late Spring at Wellcome Collection in the UK. 'Pressure Drop' is the latest work from On Theatre and Mick Gordon. Bragg has written songs for the piece that is part play, part gig, part art installation.

Sorcha Cusack will lead a cast of three in J T Rogers' award-winning Madagascar, in its UK premiere at Theatre503 this May.
