The producers of Tail! Spin!, the outrageously entertaining verbatim reenactment of four recent preposterous sex scandals, announced today the full cast for the production, which begins performances Thursday, September 18 at the Lynn Redgrave Theater at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street), ahead of an official opening on Wednesday, October 1 at 7pm. The cast of Tail! Spin! features Arnie Burton (39 Steps, Peter and the Starcatcher), Rachel Dratch ("Saturday Night Live"), Sean Dugan (Next Fall, "Smash"), Tom Galantich ("House of Cards")and Nate Smith (UCB, FunnyOrDie.com).

Last night at the JW Marriot Essex House, Inside Broadway held it's annual Broadway Beacon Awards benefit. This year the honorees included Neil Mazzella, the Chairman of Hudson Scenic Studio, Stephen Batta, General Manager of the JW Marriott Essex House, Tony Award nominated actress of A Raisin In The Sun, Anika Noni Rose, Tony Award nominated actor Andy Karl from ROCKY and the Tony Award show All The Way.

Primary Stages held their annual Gala last night, November 11, at The Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47th Street). The event honored Tony Award-winning playwright Christopher Durang and President of the General Counsel at Dramatists Play Service, Stephen Sultan. The evening featured performances by Rachel deBenedet (Catch Me If You Can, Addams Family), Alan Paul (Grease, Oliver!, Manhattan Transfer), Michele Ragusa (Urinetown, Ragtime, A Class Act, Adrift in Macao), and Alton F. Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning regional theatre in downtown Pittsfield, Massachusetts, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, celebrated BSC's New Works Initiative with a BSC in NYC at a benefit last night at the American Airlines Theatre Penthouse. The event was co-chaired by Heather Nolin, Mary Ann Quinson, Rosita Sarnoff and Eda Sorokoff. Among the attendees were Tommy Tune, Julie Budd, and Producers Michael Alden and Jamie deRoy.

As Governor of Texas, Ann Richards was a champion for students and young adults everywhere and now theatergoers ages 14-18 can see any performance of ANN for just $20. Bob Boyett and Harriet Newman Leve announced today that ANN, written and performed by Emmy and Outer Critics Circle Award winner and Tony nominee Holland Taylor (“Two and a Half Men”), will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, June 30, 2013, after 19 previews and 132 regular performances. ANN began performances on Monday, February 18, 2013, at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street), and opened on Thursday, March 7, 2013.

The Drama League opened it doors at their new space on May 23rd with a ribbon cutting hosted by Judith Light. The focal point of The DramaLeague Theater Center is the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Studio Lab, a brand-new laboratory/development space for theater artists to create and hone work for future productions. It will also act as a flexible multi-purpose space for a variety of programming including educational opportunities, audience-focused series and special events. This will allow the Drama League to better serve the entire New York theater community - directors, audience, playwrights and actors. The Drama League Theater Center will offer artist residencies, play readings, open rehearsals, developmental workshops, lectures, classes, seminars, discussions, conferences, theatre-focused social gatherings and more.
