Parsons Dance, under the artistic direction of acclaimed choreographer David Parsons, will play a celebratory two-week engagement, marking the company's 30th Anniversary season, at The Joyce Theater from January 14 - 26. The season will include the world premiere of Parsons' The Introduction, along with audience favorites from the company's repertoire, such as Nascimento Novo, The Envelope and, of course, Caught. American Repertory Ballet's Nutcracker production is celebrating 50 consecutive years this coming holiday season. In order for Gifted Companies to present their work in London and for the Fringe/Studio Theatres to afford to book them, this subsidy has been established. The annual Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award of £1500, covering 2 weeks @ £750 per week will be awarded each year in perpetuity with the hope that matching funds will be made available. The annual Peter Brook/Equity Ensemble Award of £2000 is to help establish deeper development of ensemble work within the studio theatres.
