THIRTEEN announces the weekly listings for 'NYC-ARTS' from March 21 - May 30, 2013. This year's star-studded BROADWAY BACKWARDS took place last night, March 18, 2013 at the Palace Theater (1564 Broadway). BROADWAY BACKWARDS is a one-night-only performance produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefiting BC/EFA and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center of New York. Now in its eighth year, BROADWAY BACKWARDS is an annual celebration where gays and lesbians see their stories onstage, told through the great songs of musical theatre, sung by their favorite Broadway performers. An extremely limited number of $20 rush tickets to this year's star-studded BROADWAY BACKWARDS will be released for sale at 6:30 PM Monday, March 18, 2013. The rush tickets will be sold in the lobby of the Palace Theater (1564 Broadway). They will not be available at the box office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, cash only and are limited to two tickets per person. The show begins at 8 PM.

The Paul Taylor Dance Company performed to a nearly packed house at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater on Sunday, March 10th. The matinee performance included three of Paul Taylor's more recent works: 'Offenbach Overtures,' 'Promethean Fire,' and the world premiere of 'Perpetual Dawn.'

American Repertory Ballet will return to the Princeton Public Library this year to present special insight into its upcoming programming. Tonight, March 7, 2013 at 7:30pm, ARB Artistic Director Douglas Martin will discuss his new Romeo and Juliet and Rite of Spring ballets, both of which ARB will unveil this spring. Also at this event, the virtuosic dancers of ARB will perform excerpts of both these ballets, giving audiences exclusive previews of these world premieres.

The Audience began previewing at the Gielgud Theatre on 15 February 2013, with press night on 5 March 2013 and is booking to 15 June 2013. Designs are by Bob Crowley with lighting by Rick Fisher, sound by Paul Arditti, music by Paul Englishby and video by Ian William Galloway.

The WICA Family Series is back to offer world-class artists at affordable ticket prices. Taylor 2 Dance Company will perform on the Michael Nutt Main Stage at WICA tonight, March 6, at 7:30 P.M. Established in 1993, the six-member Taylor 2 Company is known for bringing to life legendary choreographer Paul Taylor's signature dances.

ABT Studio Company and the graduate students of The Royal Ballet School (RBS) will perform a shared bill at The Ailey Citigroup Theater on Tuesday, March 26, and Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. Performances by ABT Studio Company will include George Balanchine's Tarantella, Raymond Lukens' Jerusalem Divertissement, and excerpts from Alexei Ratmansky's Le Carnaval des Animaux and Paul Taylor's Airs. The RBS repertory will include Sir Frederick Ashton's Rhapsody, Ji?i Bubeni?ek's Canon in D Major, excerpts from Maurice Bejart's Seven Greek Dances, Ashley Page's Larina Waltz and the pas de deux from Le Corsaire.
