Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Performs at Kimmel Center, 2/12

The talented members of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) will perform on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 3 p.m. Conducted by Maestro Louis Scaglione, President and Music Director of the PYO organization, it will take place in Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Center, 300 S. Broad Street in Philadelphia. The most advanced ensemble of the organization, musicians of PYO, ages 14-21, will perform Shostakovich's Symphony No. I; Prokofiev's Second Suite from Romeo and Juliet, and Stravinsky's Suite from The Firebird.

Philadelphia Youth Orchestra Presents 10th Annual PRYSM Festival Concert, 2/4

After months of practice, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's PRYSM (Philadelphia Region Youth String Music) and PRYSM-YA (PRYSM Young Artists) will showcase their skills at the tenth annual PRYSM Festival Concert on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 3 p.m. It will be held in Centennial Hall at the Haverford School in Haverford, PA.  General admission tickets are $15. Two ensemble programs of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) organization are performing in a free concert on Today, January 21 at 3 p.m. at the Temple Performing Arts Center, located at 1837 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia. The two ensembles are Tune Up Philly (TUP) and The Philadelphia Young Musicians Orchestra (PYMO).

Cast Set for 'THOUGHTS OF A COLORED MAN' Benefit, Choreographed by Taye Diggs & Jenny Parsinen

As previously announced, celebrated star of stage and screen Taye Diggs and Jenny Parsinen (Allegiance) will choreograph the benefit workshop production of Keenan Scott II's powerful and moving play thoughts of a COLORED MAN on a day when the sun set too early, from February 4-6, 2017 at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor).

Cabaret on the Hudson Series Comes to Irvington Town Hall Theater in December

The performance will be held on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Cabaret on the Hudson is a series that features three outstanding cabaret performers or small groups, each bringing a 25 minute sampling of their New York City cabaret shows to Westchester, NY. Many of the performers are Broadway veterans and have performed in New York City venues such as 54 BELOW, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Birdland, Feinstein's at Loews Regency, Iridium, the Metropolitan Room and Jazz at Lincoln Center to name a few. Cabaret on the Hudson will be hosted by multi-nominated Cabaret singer and host of the Music at the Mansion series, Corinna Sowers Adler and will feature Matt Baker on piano.
