Disney Channel Orders Second Season of BIG CITY GREENS Ahead of the Series Premiere, Monday, June 18

Disney Channel has ordered a second season of animated comedy-adventure series 'Big City Greens,' about a mischievous and optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his wildly out of place family, ahead of its series debut, MONDAY, JUNE 18 (9:30 a.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD. The series hails from comic book creators and brothers Chris and Shane Houghton ('Harvey Beaks') and influenced by their childhood growing up in the small rural town of St. Johns, Michigan, with many of the locations and characters inspired by their real-life family members and townsfolk.

HOW DID THIS GET MADE? with Paul Scheer, Jason Mantzoukas and June Diane Raphael is coming to Paramount Theatre in Denver on Saturday, August 25th at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. Tickets are $45.00 and go on sale Friday, May 4th at 10am. The early show is an official headlining show of High Plains Comedy Festival. Emmy® and Tony®-winning, Academy Award®-nominated actress and animal advocate Lily Tomlin (Grace and Frankie) joined actress June Diane Raphael (Grace and Frankie), Craig Ferguson (The Craig Ferguson Show), and Whitney Cummings (Unforgettable) to bring the laughs to 'Wait Wait...Don't Kill Me-2!,' a night of unforgettable comedy and entertainment benefiting Voice For The Animals Foundation (VFTA) on Friday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center Eli and Edythe Broad Stage. The evening of wit and entertainment (inspired by the popular NPR weekly program “Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me”) hilariously spotlighted animal news, views and other topical animal events. Presented by Honeysweet Creative, this tenth annual fundraiser was hosted by actor Paul Scheer (The League). All proceeds go to support VFTA as they continue their fight for creating respect and empathy for animals through education, rescue, legislation and advocacy.

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) tonight announced winners of its Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards in 23 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater. Winners in the film categories include "DARKEST HOUR," "PITCH PERFECT 3," "I, TONYA" and "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol 2." Television winners include "GAME OF THRONES," "DANCING WITH THE STARS," "THE CROWN," "BIG LITTLE LIES," "FEUD: BETTE AND JOAN" and "AMERICAN HORROR STORY: CULT." Winners in the Daytime Television category were awarded to "THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.' "HENRY DANGER" wins Best Children/Teen Program. Comedy Central Renews Emmy-Winning Series DRUNK HISTORY For Sixth Season

Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central announced today that the Emmy® Award-winning Comedy Central series, Drunk History, has been renewed for a sixth season with sixteen episodes. Created for television by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, Drunk History is produced by Central Productions and executive produced by Waters and Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Ian Friedman and Daniel Wolfberg are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. The fifth season currently airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Regina Hall (Girls Trip) and Paul Scheer (The Disaster Artist, The League) are set to join the cast of the SHOWTIME half-hour comedy pilot BALL STREET. Starring Emmy® nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor Don Cheadle (Avengers: Infinity War) and two-time Tony Award nominee and Grammy® winner Andrew Rannells (Girls, The Intern), BALL STREET is directed and executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The pilot, which has also added Kurt Braunohler (The Big Sick) and Eugene Cordero (Kong: Skull Island), is created by David Caspe (Happy Endings) and Jordan Cahan (My Best Friend's Girl), who also serve as executive producers and showrunners. Casey Wilson (Happy Endings) will guest star as Tiff, Blair's (Rannells) girlfriend who appreciates the finer things in life that Blair's new job may not provide. Reuniting with Happy Endings and Marry Me producers Caspe and Cahan, Wilson will recur if the show goes to series. Production is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles this week. The pilot is a co-production of SHOWTIME and Sony Pictures Television Studios.
