Coffey as 'Mysterious Man,' Andy Grotelueschen as 'Milky White, Florinda & Rapunzel's Prince,'Liz Hayes as 'Cinderella's Stepmother & Jack's Mother,' Claire Karpen as 'Cinderella & Granny,'Jennifer Mudge as Witch,' Patrick Mulryan as 'Jack & Steward,' Ben Steinfeld as 'Baker' and Emily Young as 'Little Red Ridinghood & Rapunzel.' It is my pleasure to announce that the upcoming production of Into The Woods at the Laura Pels Theatre will feature the original McCarter Theatre Center/Fiasco Theater cast. These ten extraordinary actors are Jessie Austrian (Baker's Wife), Noah Brody (Lucinda/Wolf/Cinderella's Prince), Paul L. Coffey (Mysterious Man), Andy Grotelueschen (Milky White/Florinda/Rapunzel's Prince), Liz Hayes (Cinderella's Stepmother/Jack's Mother), Claire Karpen (Cinderella/Granny),Jennifer Mudge (Witch), Patrick Mulryan (Jack/Steward), Ben Steinfeld (Baker), and Emily Young (Little Red Ridinghood/Rapunzel). As you know, Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld (co-Artistic Directors, along with Jessie Austrian, of Fiasco Theater) are also directing this thrillingly imaginative iteration of the musical.

The Old Globe today announced additional performances for the second production of the 2014 Summer Season, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Into the Woods, which made its World Premiere at The Old Globe in 1986. The production is an inventive reimagining by Fiasco Theater, directed by Noah Brody and Ben Steinfeld, in a production that originated at McCarter Theatre Center. By popular demand, it will now play through Sunday, August 17. Tickets for the extension will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, July 29 at noon.

Fiasco Theatre's production of Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, delights and impresses. Lighthearted and gay (as in 'keenly alive and exuberant'), the six-member ensemble's streamlined presentation of the tale is filled with chuckles and bubbles, buffoonery and romantic jests.

Into the Woods is coming back- and not just on the big screen! BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that the musical will return to the New York Stage soon. Roundabout Theatre Company will present McCarter Theatre Center and Fiasco Theatre's acclaimed, re-imagined production of the Tony Award-winning musical classic by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine at the Laura Pels Theatre in Winter 2015.

Two additional performances for the world premiere of Measure for Measure at The New Victory Theater have been added on Thursday, March 6 at 7pm and Thursday, March 13 at 7pm for a total of 21 performances (14 public performances).

Sundance Institute today announced the three projects and two artists-in-residence that will participate in its two-week (December 1-15) Theatre Lab for musical theatre and ensemble-generated projects, taking place for the third time at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).
