'Tis the Sunday before Piaf opens at The Curve Theatre, Leicester. I am sitting in my digs, with a glass of wine in hand, wondering what the press will think of it all. Hopefully, they will enjoy it as much as the preview audiences. However, until they give their verdict, let me tell you about the lead-up to now and rehearsals.

CHICAGO is set to premiere at U.K.'s Curve in Leicester, November 29, 2013 - January 11, 2014.

Award-winning actress Janie Dee returns to Curve to play the title role in Artistic Director Paul Kerryson's production of Michael Stewart and Jerry Herman's Hello, Dolly! This production reunites Dee and Kerryson following their collaboration on The King and I in 2010. The production opens on Wednesday 5 December, with previews from 30 November, and runs until 12 January 2013.

According to her official blog, stage star Caroline O'Connor will return Leicester Curve Theatre in November to star in Hello Dolly! as the title role. O'Connor will reunite with Curve's Artistic Director Paul Kerryson (Director) for the season.

Today, June 17, from noon until midnight, Bang on a Can continues celebrating its 25th year with the annual Bang on a Can Marathon, free for the public at World Financial Center Winter Garden (220 Vesey Street, NYC), presented by River To River® Festival, Arts Brookfield, and Bang on a Can.

American Composers Orchestra's (ACO) 21st Annual Underwood New Music Readings take place from tonight, Friday, June 1 to Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music (450 W. 37th St., NYC). The Readings include two public events - a working rehearsal on Friday at 10am, and a run-through on Saturday at 7:30pm. Both events are free and open to the public, giving audiences a chance to look behind the scenes at the process involved in bringing brand new, stylistically diverse orchestral music to life.

Ramon Tikaram will play the role of 'The King' and Josefina Gabrielle will play the role of 'Anna' alongside two teams of 32 local children.
