San Francisco Ballet's ROMEO AND JULIET Launches Lincoln Center at the Movies' GREAT AMERICAN DANCE Screenings Tonight

Lincoln Center at the Movies, the new cinema series recently announced by Lincoln Center in partnership with Fathom Events, will open in fall 2015 with Great American Dance presenting performances by four of America's leading companies: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ballet Hispanico, New York City Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet. Each event will be shown in select cinemas nationwide at nearly 400 locations.

Mason Holdings, a company dedicated to preservation of all kinds, will present Jarring, the first in a series of stories - 'The Almost Lost' - that concern the lives (and deaths) of the unrecognized, unseen, unknown and unsung. Written and performed by Tracy Weller and directed by Kristjan Thor, this existential piece will be presented at 225 East Houston Street (@ Essex Street). Performances will begin Saturday, April 25th. Opening Night is set for Wednesday, April 29th at 8pm. Performances will continue through May 17th. Scroll down for a peek at Weller in action!

Orlando Shakespeare Theater to Present HENRY V in 2015

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF presents Henry V from February 18 - March 22, 2015 in the Goldman Theater. Under the direction of Artistic Director Jim Helsinger, Shakespeare's history play tells the story of King Henry V of England during the Hundred Years' War.

KISS ME OR CUT OFF MY HEAD Workshop Set for 11/23

A little more than two years after the space-driven Palawan, Philippines workshop of Kiss Me or Cut Off My Head, Theatre Makers Chris Carcione and Brooke M. Haney embark on a second workshop. The previously one-person show now incorporates 18 additional actors, most recreating true accounts that Haney collected, based on a series of interviews in New York and Kibera, Kenya. Shad Ramsey fight directs the piece, and Joshua Paul Johnson is the Director of Photography for all of the on-camera interviews. The goal of this workshop is to incorporate on-camera interviews, voice-overs and projections into the play to see what is compelling. The invite-only workshop, which is sold out, will be held at Sarah Lawrence College on Sunday, November 23rd, 2014.

Edwards, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, directed by HVSF newcomer Eric Tucker, and David Ives' hilarious adaptation of Pierre Corneille's comedy, The Liar, directed by HVSF veteran Russell Treyz.

Broadway's Josh Strickland to Join Cast of VEGAS! THE SHOW this Month

Utah Composers to Reveal New Works with Skyros & Battery String Quartets at Deer Valley Music Fest

Each summer the Muir String Quartet collaborates with Joan Tower to offer two emerging, semi-professional string quartets and two promising composers an opportunity for extended professional development during the Deer Valley Music Festival. Because of the high quality of these performances the past ten years, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera will include the final performance of the three-week Emerging Quartets and Composers Program in its mainstream lineup of Deer Valley Music Festival Chamber Ensemble Series this summer.
