Composer Danny Elfman and visionary Hollywood filmmaker Tim Burton have created a unique concert experience, blending music and visuals to celebrate the nearly three decades long partnership of two of Hollywood's top creators. Conducted by Jason Hiester, this live concert features Danny Elfman's famous film scores brought to life on stage by the Columbus Symphony, enhanced by visuals on the big screen of Tim Burton's original film sketches, drawings, and storyboards. HERO Theatre announced Nick Tarabay, best known as "Ashur" on the television drama Spartacus, has joined their resident acting ensemble. Spartacus originally on STARZ, has recently been acquired by the SyFy Network.

Blue Note Jazz Club, one of the world's most iconic jazz and blues venues based in Greenwich Village, has announced world renowned trumpeter Chris Botti's milestone 10th Annual Holiday Residency. The three-week engagement at the club will run Monday, December 15, 2014 through Sunday, January 4, 2015, with two shows each evening (including Christmas Eve and New Years Eve performances).

The Academy launches a new digital documentary-style video series, 'Academy Originals,' which examines everything from the creative process, to the moments that changed the course of filmmaking, to the artists who are charting its future.

It was announced today that Academy Award winning producer Cathy Schulman ("Crash") will receive an honorary Doctor of Arts degree from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Dodge College's commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 24, where Schulman will deliver the keynote address.

LIVE. The first show on Halloween, October 31 was sold out, 12 minutes after it went on sale.
