BWW Review: FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS, Chichester Festival Theatre

First staged at Sheffield Theatres for a short run in 2016, Richard Taylor and Rachel Wagstaff's Flowers for Mrs Harris is brought to life again by Daniel Evans at Chichester Festival Theatre. With Clare Burt returning to the title role, it becomes a tear-jerking, runaway success that will not fail to touch the hearts of its audience.

Chichester Festival Theatre Announces Its 2018 Season

Fiddlehead Sets 'PRISCILLA' & CARNIVAL for 2016-17 Season

Meg Fofonoff and Stacey Stephens, Producing Artistic Directors of Fiddlehead Theatre Company, announced today that the Boston-based professional theater company will stage two full-scale musical productions at the Citi Performing Arts Center Shubert Theatre for their 23rd Anniversary season, in partnership with the Citi Performing Arts Center and Josiah A. Spaulding, Jr., President and CEO.

Sheffield Theatres to Premiere FLOWERS FOR MRS HARRIS Next Month

Next month, Sheffield Theatres stage the World Premiere of Flowers For Mrs Harris - an uplifting new musical based on the novel by Paul Gallico.  Written by Richard Taylor and Rachel Wagstaff, the production, onstage at the Crucible from Wednesday 18 May - Saturday 4 June, will be Artistic Director Daniel Evans' last for Sheffield Theatres.

Stage Door Theatre to Present CARNIVAL, 1/22-2/28

 Acclaimed for its 'magic', 'simplicity', and 'compassion', Carnival blends music, comedy, and pathos into what has been referred to as 'America's Magical Musical'.  Carnival will open at Margate's Stage Door Theatre on January 22nd and run through February 28th. 

Sheffield Theatres Sets 2016 Season

Sheffield Theatres' Artistic Director Daniel Evans today announces the company's most ambitious season to date. Highlights include three world premieres - of new plays from Richard Bean (One Man, Two Guvnors), Chris Bush and a co-production with Third Angel, a new British musical, Flowers For Mrs Harris, by Richard Taylor and Rachel Wagstaff, a regional premiere of Mike Bartlett's (Bull, Doctor Foster) Contractions and two major new productions of 20th century classics - A Raisin In The Sun and Waiting For Godot.

Tickets to EQT Children's Theater Festival Now on Sale

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces the 29th annual EQT Children's Theater Festival. This family-friendly festival will be held May 14 ? 17, 2015 throughout the Cultural District in downtown Pittsburgh for kids of all ages. The festival is sponsored by the EQT Foundation, the charitable affiliation of the EQT Corporation.

Segerstrom Center to Present 'MANXMOUSE,' 10/18-19

Meet Manxmouse, the loveable and distinct looking, one-of-a-kind mouse who lacks a tail, has bright blue fur and huge rabbit ears. Manxmouse does not mind being different and displays great confidence and bravery while setting out on an exciting new adventure and coming face to face with destiny. Based on the novel Manxmouse by Paul Gallico, Theatergroep Kwatta performs the delightful tale of Manxmouse: The Mouse Who Knew No Fear, making its North American debut at Segerstrom Center for the Arts October 18 & 19 in Samueli Theater.

THE SNOW GOOSE is a classic favourite that has captured the hearts of young and old readers alike over the past seven decades. On the desolate Essex marshes and against the background of the miracle of Dunkirk, a wounded, storm tossed snow goose brings a young girl, Fritha, and the recluse Philip Rhayader together in a moving story about love and courage.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced its 2014 - 2015 Family Series. Eight shows will feature an array of talented international artists who will entertain and inspire families gathered for the spontaneous thrill and joy of live theater. Each performance will be preceded by an hour of free audience engagement activities themed to the show. Performances are in the Center's Samueli Theater unless otherwise noted.
