Theo Ubique's hit summer cabaret, A Musical Tribute to the Andrews Sisters, has added a month of performances in August following the complete sellout of all its July dates. The schedule continues with performances Thursday through Sunday evenings (though there will be no shows Friday, August 15 through Sunday, August 17), plus Wednesday evening performances beginning August 13. According to the Chicago Tribune, Patty Andrews, last surviving member of the acclaimed pop group the Andrews Sisters, died today, January 30, 2013. She was 94. Her sister Maxene died in 1995, and her sister LaVerne died in 1967.

For its 60th anniversary season, the Totem Pole Playhouse (9555 Golf Course Road, Fayetteville) will get new seats and in turn, sells its 1920 era seats on April 17th. A donation of $25 is being asked for a historical seat. They will be sold between the hours of 10 AM and 1 PM. Seats are disassembled and must be removed on Saturday. In addition to the new seats, the restrooms are being revamped.
