Jan Buttram's LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE swept the recent 6th Annual Ab*ie Award ceremony garnering seven of the eight awards. Voted outstanding play, LOST ON THE NATCHEZ TRACE also took bows for outstanding male actor (Peter Brouwer) and direction, Kate Bushmann. Outstanding design awards went to Andrew Lu (set), Travis McHale (lighting), Catherine Siracusa and Sidney Levitt (co-costume design), and David M. Lawson (sound). This June, 54 BELOW, a new performance venue in the grand tradition of New York City nightlife opens its doors to the public. The venue, located just below legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents an exciting lineup of Broadway brightest talent.

The second annual 'Night of A Thousand Judys' - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center - will take place at Playwrights Horizons on Monday, June 18. The show is a special presentation of the variety show The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre.

On June 4, Broadway veterans will unite for a fundraiser with President Barack Obama and special guest President Bill Clinton at the New Amsterdam Theater, titled- BARACK ON BROADWAY. The 20th Anniversary season of New York City Center's Tony Award-winning Encores! series will open on January 30, 2013 with Fiorello!, the show that launched the series in 1994. The season will continue with It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman, followed by On Your Toes. A Gala Encores! at 20 Celebration on November 12, 2012 will star Tony Award nominees and Encores! alumni Rauil Esparza and Kelli O'Hara.
