Following her opening run at Broadway's newest venue, 54 BELOW presents an encore week of Patti LuPone's cabaret act - FAR AWAY PLACES which will play seven additional performances from tonight, June 19 through Saturday, June 23. There will be a special late night performance on Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 p.m. This two-time Tony Award winner, backed by a five-piece band, has thrilled 54 BELOW audiences for the past two weeks.

If It Only Even Runs A Minute 10 is the tenth edition of this series of rare songs, behind-the-scenes tales, and inspiring photos from Broadway musicals that may not have been fully appreciated the first time around. CONFIRMED: Al Pacino-Led GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS Revival to Play Schoenfeld Theatre; Opening Set for Nov. 11

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, David Mamet's 1984 play Glengarry Glen Ross is heading back to Broadway, this time starring Al Pacino as leading man, 'Shelly "The Machine" Levene.' Pacino previously played 'Richard Roma' the the 1992 film adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Daniel Sullivan is attached to direct the project.
The New York Times has confirmed that the show will begin previews on October 16 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater. Opening night is set for November 11.

The 2012 Tony Awards, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing and hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, are through! The ceremony was broadcast last night, June 10, in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre, on the CBS television network.
Below check out this year's hilarious opening number (with all the lyrics), which featured host Neil Patrick Harris and appearances by Amanda Seyfried, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Patti LuPone, and more! The song was written by CRY BABY writers and Tony nominees David Javerbaum and Adam Schlesinger.
