Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, one of South Florida's hottest, award-winning theatre companies, today announced a special bonus for the audience at an upcoming performance of the gender-bending musical LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, which is running through October 22 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse.

MNM Productions presents La Cage aux Folles, featuring music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and a book by Harvey Fierstein through October 22, 2017.

'I've always been drawn to the paintings of the great Impressionists,' award-winning playwright and director Michael Leeds mused recently.  'As opposed to the idealized forms and perfect symmetry that was the norm, the Impressionists chose subjects from all walks of life, capturing who they were and what they were doing in that fleeting moment in time.

In the hallowed halls of Lynn University's Wold Performing Arts Center, where the New York-bound 'Daniel's Husband' began, they're buzzing about another new play - 'A KING ! A PLOT! A GUN! A SHOT! And All That Followed (Quite a Lot!),' by Tony Finstrom.

These are the plays that comprise the 2016-17 'Jan McArt New Play Readings' series, to be presented at Boca Raton's Lynn University beginning Halloween night, Monday, October 31st.

TheatreZone Artistic Director Mark Danni today announced the 13-member cast of the Equity theatre group's March 2016 production of INTO THE WOODS at the G&L Theatre in Naples. The production performs March 3 until March 13 and includes TheatreZone fan favorite actors and several newcomers.

The really nice thing is that this is the first world premiere I've seen in a long time that doesn't need editing. A tight one act. It'll go.

Can you hear the people sing? The Carbonell Awards judges did, honoring LES MISERABLES at Maltz Jupiter Theatre with 10 Carbonell nominations, the most of any musical production. Daniel's Husband at Island City Stage, a world premiere about the importance of marriage equality, garnered six nominations, the most of any play.
