The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts has two stages, but most people are only familiar with Sarofim Hall. Nestled on the corner of Rusk and Bagby is the gorgeous and intimate Zilkha Hall, which seats 500. The space was originally planned as a black box theater, and Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) current Artistic Director, Bruce Lumpkin, has great plans for TUTS to utilize the space as such. For TUTS' first venture at Zilkha Hall, the company is presenting the hilarious and heartwarming Off-Broadway sensation DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY.

Dallas Theater Center announced the complete cast and creative team for the world premiere of Fly, a new musical based on J.M. Barrie's novel, Peter Pan. Three-time Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights) makes his directorial debut with this production.

Dixie's Tupperware Party, the hilarious Off-Broadway show starring Dixie Longate (2008 Drama Desk Nomination) - will celebrate its 750th performance on tour Wednesday, May 22nd at Milwaukee's Marcus Center (making it one of the longest-running off Broadway tours of the last decade). The show that has played to sell-out performances in 5 countries and brought in more than $3 million in sales has played major markets during its five years on the road. Produced by Down South LLC and written by Kris Andersson, the show which brought Tupperware-mania to Off Broadway and prompted NBC's Today Show to proclaim 'Not Your Grandmother's Tupperware Party!' has continued to wow critics and audiences around the world and promises to do the samenext season which includes several repeat city engagements due to strong critical response and sold-out runs.

Dixie Longate, star of Dixie's Tupperware Party, will be touring Milwaukee landmarks during her press tour on Wednesday, May 15 with transportation by Bell Ambulance. During her tour, she will be making a special stop at the Milwaukee Public Market and La Perla. Dixie will make her stop at the Milwaukee Public Market, 400 North Water Street, at11:30 am and at La Perla, 734 South 5th Street, at 12:00 pm on the 15th. During this time, she will be taking photos with patrons and various Milwaukee landmarks. This tour will kick off her engagement at the Marcus Center's Vogel Hall that runs May 14-26.

The Marcus Center is teaming up with Curves in the Greater Milwaukee Area to offer a special Enter-To-Win Giveaway on Saturday, May 18 at the 3:00 pm performance of Dixie's Tupperware Party for audience members. Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Greg Reiner, will present a private reading of a new musical comedy A DOCTOR IN SPITE OF HIMSELF by Sheldon Harnick, based on Molière's LE MEDECIN MALGRE LUI, today, February 1 at MTC Studios. The musical features a score by Harnick, as well as English Adaptation and Additional Dialogue. The reading will be directed by David Glenn Armstrong, with musical direction by Amanda Morton. The cast will feature Ben Davis, Beth Fowler, David Garrison, Cady Huffman, Charles Kimbrough, Jose Llana, Patrick Richwood, Robb Sapp and Elena Shaddow.
