The One-Minute Play Festival, Boston Public Works Theater Company, and Boston Playwrights' Theatre continue their dynamic annual partnership for The 5th Annual Boston One-Minute Play Festival, with part of the proceeds to benefit new play programing and artist funding at Boston Public Works Theater Company and Boston Playwrights' Theatre.

The One-Minute Play Festival (Dominic D'Andrea, Producing Artistic Director & Caitlin Wees, Associate Producer), Boston Public Works Theater Company (John Greiner-Ferris, Producer), and Boston Playwrights' Theatre (Kate Snodgrass, Artistic Director) continue their dynamic annual partnership for The 5th Annual Boston One-Minute Play Festival, with part of the proceeds to benefit new play programing and artist funding at Boston Public Works Theater Company and Boston Playwrights' Theatre.

Brown Box Theatre Project is pleased to announce their world premiere production of Boston playwright Patrick Gabridge's new play: Lab Rats. Lab Rats is a sharply comic love story that poignantly examines the raw connection between two damaged humans as they struggle to redefine what it means to escape. Brown Box Theatre Project is excited to continue their relationship with their Boston and Delmarva audiences by producing at Atlantic Wharf in Boston followed by a tour to Salisbury and Ocean City, Maryland. The show will run from November 6 through November 15 in Boston, and November 19 through November 23 in Maryland.

Artists' Exchange announces the 16 great plays that will be featured in its 10th Annual One Act Play Festival this summer, after whittling it down from the over 1,000 received submissions. These original, new plays will be directed, produced, and performed by Rhode Island and local theatre professionals, community actors, and Artists' Exchange artists for the entertainment of the community beginning today, July 17th, and continuing through August 8th at Theatre 82 & Character's Cafe? in Cranston.

Nylon Fusion Theatre Company announces their Short Play Festival "This Round's On Us" on February 20-21, featuring eleven new plays in two sets. Guest writers include Michael Puzzo and Don Nigro. Gotham's John Doman plays President McKinley in Nigro's new play Front Porch. Hosted by Lori Kee.

Huntington Theatre Company announces its 2014-2016 cohort of Huntington Playwriting Fellows: Mia Chung, John J King, Sam Marks, and Nina Louise Morrison. This artistically diverse group of writers begin their two-year residency in September. Past Huntington Playwriting Fellows include Ronan Noone (The Atheist, Brendan, and the upcoming The Second Girl), Lydia R. Diamond (Smart People, Stick Fly), Melinda Lopez (Becoming Cuba, Sonia Flew), Kirsten Greenidge (Luck of the Irish), Ryan Landry (Ryan Landry's "M"), and Rosanna Yamagiwa Alfaro (Before I Leave You) to name a few.

Leicester Landon, Alexandra Lawrence, Michael Muller, William Earl Ray, and Marshall York will star in this comedy, running tonight, February 13 through Sunday, March 2 at Amphibian's theater at 120 S. Main Street. Jessica Bauman will direct the production.
