Point Park University's Conservatory Theatre Company opens its 2013-2014 season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved musical Oklahoma! directed by Broadway star Patrick Cassidy. Oklahoma! opens Friday, Oct. 18, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 27, with a preview on Thursday, Oct. 17, in the Rockwell Theatre at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. Performances will be at 8 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets range from $18 to $20 and can be purchased by calling the Pittsburgh Playhouse box office at 412.392.8000, or at www.pittsburghplayhouse.com.

Point Park University's Conservatory Theatre Company will produce five works, including a special, student-devised production, a rock musical and a famous Irish play, in the 2013-2014 season. The season begins Oct. 18 and runs through April 19, 2014.

The Deer Valley Music Festival, summer home of Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, is celebrating ten years of music in the mountains with a festival lineup that highlights the diversity of the orchestra and its audience. The 2013 Festival features seventeen performances from June 29 to August 10 at venues in Park City, Utah, including ten performances at Deer Valley Resort's Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheatre which was recently highlighted by CNN as one of eight 'amazing' outdoor concert venues. The first three Festival events will take place on June 29, July 5 and July 6.

Actor's Fund to Memorialize Broadway Producer Roy Miller; Visitation Set for 5/5

Beloved Broadway producer Roy Miller passed away suddenly early Sunday morning, April 28, 2013 following a brief illness. Roy produced the multiple Tony Award nominated Broadway productions of The Drowsy Chaperone and this season's A Christmas Story: The Musical. His other Broadway producing credits include West Side Story, Ragtime, [title of show] and The Pee-Wee Herman Show among others. He recently served as Producing Artistic Director of Surflight Theatre from 2010 to 2012 and also served as Associate Producer of Paper Mill Playhouse from 1991 to 2004.

A dazzling new production of the long-running Broadway revival CHICAGO directed and choreographed by Broadway veteran Gerry McIntyre opens the season June 13-23. Traditional favorite FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, with Boston television personality and IRNE Award winner Scott Wahle reprising his critically acclaimed role as Tevye, runs July 11-21. Ending the summer season August 8-18 is a revolutionary new staging of what many have called the most popular musical of all time, LES MISERABLES, directed and choreographed by David Hugo. Additional casting and creative teams will be announced soon.

A company of more than 25 stars of stage and screen entertained a packed house at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills on Saturday night (April 6) at the 29th Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.). BWW TV's Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans of the JLE Media Group were on hand for an up close and personal look at the event , themed 'Broadway, My Way,' which raised more than $285,000 for HIV/AIDS direct care, education, and advocacy services offered by AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA).
