Stella Abrera Named Acting Artistic Director of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School

Stella Abrera, former Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre, has been named Acting Artistic Director of the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. The appointment, effective August 22, was announced today by Kevin McKenzie, Artistic Director of American Ballet Theatre.

Stella Abrera, a Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre since 2015, will give her farewell performance with the Company in the title role of Giselle on Saturday evening, June 13, 2020 at the Metropolitan Opera House.

American Ballet Theatre Announces New Promotions

Stella Abrera and Misty Copeland have been promoted to the rank of Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre and Skylar Brandt, Thomas Forster, Arron Scott and Cassandra Trenary have been promoted to Soloist effective August 1, 2015.   In addition, Maria Kochetkova, a principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet and Alban Lendorf, a principal dancer with Royal Danish Ballet will join the Company as Principal Dancers and Jeffrey Cirio, a principal dancer with Boston Ballet, will join ABT as a Soloist, it was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.

One of Pinter's most popular plays tells the story of an intriguing love triangle between Robert, his wife Emma and his best friend Jerry, examining the hopes and dreams that lie beneath our intrigues and disguises. Directed by John Arthur Lewis, the play runs about 90 minutes with one intermission.
