Some of Broadway's most interesting and talented show business personalities are starting to stream through the WABC studio where famed talk show host Joey Reynolds holds court every Sunday at 9pm on Cumulus talker WABC/770. Joey will also be streamed on iHeartRadio, and his friend Art Vuolo says the Sunday show "will be added to 790 AM KABC Los Angeles, and syndication will begin thanks to William G. Nye and Mike Cave." Joey's long career stretches back to the early 1960s in Hartford (WPOP, WDRC), Buffalo ("KB Radio" WKBW), Cleveland (WIXY), Detroit (WXYZ), L.A. (KMPC) and Philadelphia (both WIBG and WFIL). Joey's first guest on his inaugural show was WABC icon Cousin Brucie who is currently hosting shows on SiriusXM. This weekends show biz guests featured comedians Pat Cooper, Steven Scott and Broadway producer Jamie deRoy.

DECADES Network, the multicast TV network from Weigel Broadcasting Co. and CBS Television Stations, announces a special four-day tribute to the slapstick comic legacy of The Three Stooges. The event is scheduled to air Monday, August 29 through Thursday, September 1, in honor of the 33rd anniversary of The Three Stooges receiving their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. To celebrate, DECADES will present the broadcast television premiere of a nine-part Three Stooges documentary HEY MOE! HEY DAD!, as well as a collection of The Three Stooges movies.

The new musical Cagney, with book by Peter Colley and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton andChristopher McGovern, received its New York premiere at The York Theatre Company last spring, where it played a limited five-week, sold-out engagement. The production just transferred off-Broadway at at The Westside Theatre - Upstairs (407 West 43rd Street). In celebrating the New Year 5776, The Actors' Temple, founded in 1917 and located in a landmark building in the heart of the theater district since 1923, introduces a new initiative ARTS @ AT, to reinforce their historic commitment to serving Jewish theater artists and maintaining a relationship with the surrounding NYC arts community. Sophie Tucker, Red Buttons, Jack Benny and the Three Stooges are among the scores of well-known entertainers who frequented its striking halls. Mr. Bernstein passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in New York City, said his longtime friend, publicist Merle Frimark.
