Broadway star Marla Mindelle's (Cinderella, Sister Act) short film The Devil's Bitch has been named as an official selection in the 2012 Friar's Club Comedy Film Festival. Mindelle stars in the darkly comic musical short, which she co-created with Jonathan Parks-Ramage, New York based writer/producer.
IFC Films announced today that the company is acquiring all North American rights to director Michael Walker's comedy PRICE CHECK. Walker also wrote the screenplay for the film, with Parker Posey, Eric Mabius, Annie Parisse, Josh Pais, Cheyenne Jackson, and Edward Herrmann starring. Dolly Hall produced the picture, which made its world premiere at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. IFC Films will release the film on VOD on October 11th and theatrically on November 16th.

The West Coast Premiere of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, officially opened September 12 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.
