After selling out its originally scheduled run within a week of opening night, Theo Ubique's production of Jonathan Larson's musical Rent will be extended for an additional four weeks. Tickets for the added performances are now on sale.

Theo Ubique has announced the cast for its upcoming production of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical RENT, according to director Scott Weinstein.

The Off-Broadway cult-classic musical, Triassic Parq, has it's Chicago Premiere with CIRCLE THEATRE, co-directed by Tommy Bullington and Nicholas Reinhart, and music directed by Justin Harner. Benevolent Theatre is excited to present the musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally, based on the novel by Manuel Puig, as the final production in its 2014/2015 season. The production will run tonight, July 2nd through July 26th at Trap Door Theatre in Bucktown. Kiss of the Spider Woman is directed by Benevolent Theatre Founding Member Jessica Harling, director of such previous Benevolent Theatre productions as Spoon River. The production features Parker Guidry as Molina, and Jessica Kingsdale as Aurora the Spider Woman.
