Charged with momentum from the launch of BCMF Spring, the festival's first spring series of two concerts, the 32nd season of Long Island's longest-running classical music festival presents 11 concerts July 29 - August 23, 2015.
Tonight, February 25, 2015 at 7pm, cellist Inbal Segev, known for her 'warm, pure and beautiful tone' (Strings Magazine) will celebrate completing her recording of J.S. Bach's monumental Cello Suites with an Album Wrap Party & Concert at The Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center (Samuel B. & David Rose Building, 70 Lincoln Center Plaza, 165 W. 65th St.).

The next edition of their three-time Emmy-nominated HBO Family Documentary Special will be Joshua Bell: A YoungArts MasterClass. Filmed in New York City and London, the program features internationally acclaimed, Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell as he mentors, travels, and performs alongside nine talented young string musicians.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary this season, Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) turned to works that have been favorites among its musicians and audiences as the starting point for its Chamber Music Series programs. For the season-opening concerts in late October at The Morgan Library & Museum and Brooklyn Museum, the genesis of the program was the Schubert Octet, a work beloved and frequently performed by St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble throughout its history.

Music Mountain, America's oldest continuing summer chamber music festival, continues its 85th anniversary season with a mid-season benefit concert featuring the master pianist Peter Serkin and the acclaimed Orion String Quartet, July 19 (3PM), performing a distinguished program including Haydn, plus works for piano and strings by Brahms, and Dvorak. Also appearing this weekend is the audience favorite, Gunsmoke today, July 18 (6:30PM). This summer, Music Mountain has welcomed some of the most highly regarded string quartets in the country -- The Emerson String Quartet opened the season, audiences enjoyed The Juilliard String Quartet, and now Music Mountain has the privilege of hosting the Orion String Quartet. And, as always, the Twilight Series offers a wide range of country, folk and jazz concerts that are fun for the entire family! Concerts are scheduled thru September 14.

Wallach Artist-in-Residence Yefim Bronfman as soloist, and Beethoven's Triple Concerto, with Mr. Bronfman, Principal Cello Carter Brey, and Concertmaster Glenn Dicterow in his final appearances before concluding his 34-year tenure, tonight, June 18, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, June 21 at 8:00 p.m.

Concert Artists Guild presents the versatile pianist and composer Michael Brown, First Prize Winner of the 2010 CAG Victor Elmaleh Competition, on its Concerts in New York series on Wednesday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Cary Hall at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music.
Tonight, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. in Weill Recital Hall, violinist Pamela Frank, violist Nobuko Imai, and cellist Clemens Hagen perform Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, BWV 988, arranged for strings by Dmitry Sitkovetsky. Originally composed for harpsichord Bach's work takes listeners on an aural journey through 30 variations of a single aria in an array of styles and forms. Named after harpsichordist, Johann Gottlieb Goldberg, the probable first performer, this work remains a monument of virtuosity, now given a refreshing update in this singular arrangement for strings.
Pablo Heras-Casado will make his New York Philharmonic debut conducting Barto?k's Piano Concerto No. 3, featuring pianist Peter Serkin; Britten's Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes; and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10, today, April 2, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m.; and Saturday, April 5 at 8:00 p.m.
The chamber music concert co-presented with 92nd Street Y featuring The Mary and James G.
