Actor and playwright Valerie David performs her inspiring, comical one-woman show about becoming a two-time cancer survivor while embarking on a hijinks-filled quest for love and new meaning in her life.

Stable Cable Lab Co. will present a limited engagement of Padraic Lillis' solo show Hope You Get to Eleven, or What Are We Doing to Do About Sally? directed by Scott Illingworth at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B).

Stable Cable Lab Co. (Producer, Margaret Santa Maria) will present the World Premiere of Max Baker's The Conspiracists at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, Buzzer 3B) April 22-May 7 with performances on Sat 4/22, 4/29 & 5/6 at 7:30pm, Mon 4/24, Wed 4/26, Thu 4/27, Fri 4/28, Mon 5/1, Wed 5/3, Thu 5/4 & Fri 5/5 at 7pm and Sun 4/23, Sat 4/29, Sun 4/30, Sat 5/6 & Sun 5/7 at 3pm. Tickets ($18 in advance; $20 at the door) may be purchased atwww.stablecablelabco.org.  The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission. 

The Farm Theater will present their 2017/18 College Collaboration Project with playwright Jan Rosenberg in collaboration with students and faculty at Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama (Professor of Theatre, Alan Litsey) and West Chester University in West Chester, PA (Associate Professor, Len Kelley).

The Farm Theater announces their 2017 season, which will include the 3rd Annual College Collaboration Project with playwright Morgan McGuire, a co-production with the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, new installments of the popular bi-monthly Bullpen Sessions, and a new monthly Directors Roundtable series.

The Farm Theater will present Bullpen Sessions: Directing New Works with special guests Daniella Topol (Artistic Director of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater) and Moritz von Stuelpnagel (Tony Award nominee for Hand to God) on Monday, December 5 from 6-8pm at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture (18 Bleecker Street).

We know from the fact that playwright and performer Valerie David is standing before us that the upshot will be triumphant, and we don't mind the predictability at all. This is a good, healthy kind of predictability, based in the truth and commonality of the experience being shared. And if there are some storytellers' tricks employed along the way, that too is just fine.

The Farm Theater will present The Draft, a new reading series featuring plays and playwrights whose work has been developed by The Farm Theater, and is now being showcased for future production. The first reading series will take place on August 26 & 27 at ART NY (520 8th Avenue, 3rd Floor) and feature new plays by Maria Paz Alegre, Merridith Allen, and Alex Raid. Admission is FREE, but seating is limited.

In the Event of My Death is about eight small-town twenty-somethings, who know each other from high school, who share an impromptu time of mourning and celebration after the suicide of a mutual friend. This play was originally developed through The Farm Theater's College Collaboration program, under the artistic direction of Padraic Lillis.

Planet Connections Theatre Festivity closed out its season on August 14 with its annual award ceremony, held at the Cherry Lane Theatre in Greenwich Village.
