According to Variety, Wilson has been tapped to star in the remake of the 1980 comedy PRIVATE BENJAMIN for New Line. The studio is currently on the hunt for a director. Mark Gordon is attached to produce.

Tony award-winner Christian Borle joined Patrick Wilson special guest at the Montclair Film Festival last Sunday, May 4 at 12:00 noon. In the inaugural series at the Festival, the two actors discussed the creative process, films, theater, acting and whatever strikes their fancy over an engaging, energetic and unscripted hour. Wilson Mainstage through May 18.

The regular season will be staged August 2014 through July 2015 at the intimate Aurora Theatre in the downtown Berkeley arts district. #1: Cartagena, an exhibition of contemporary art with both international and national artists, is a Biennial created with the idea of further enhancing Cartagena's image as a significant cultural center. In a city with existing deep connections to literature, cinema, music, dance and crafts art, the exhibition will honor these cultural manifestations through the artworks presented. The State Theatre Center for the Arts announces the 2014 FREDDY Awards, the 12th year of the program, recognizing and rewarding exceptional accomplishments in the production and performance of musical theater in high schools in Lehigh and Northampton Counties, Pennsylvania, and Warren County, New Jersey. The 2014 program will feature 31 schools, the most in the programs history, and will include a first time appearance by Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School who will present In the Heights in April.
