Oscar Wilde's much loved play, An Ideal Husband returns to the West End for the first time in over 10 years. Directed by Lindsay Posner and starring Samantha Bond, Elliott Cowan, Alexander Hanson and Rachael Stirling, An Ideal Husband will open at the Vaudeville Theatre for previews from 4 November 2010.

UK Daily Mail reports that Oscar Wilde's AN IDEAL HUSBAND will feature Samantha Bond (Mrs Cheveley), Alexander Hanson (Robert Chiltern), Rachael Stirling, Elliot Cowan, Charles Kay and Fiona Button when it opens at the Vaudeville Theatre in London on November 10. Previews are set to begin November 4.

'35 is a very attractive age,' according to Oscar Wilde, and Taproot Theatre Company agrees. Taproot Theatre Company celebrates its 35th Anniversary Season in 2011 with a year-long party featuring Wilde and his dandies, a myriad of mythological characters, and countless Taproot Theatre patrons and friends. Taproot Theatre Company's 2011 Season runs from January through October. The resubscription period is currently underway, with subscriptions opening to the general public on September 28.

Brava enters its 3rd season under the direction of Artistic Director, Raelle Myrick-Hodges, with exciting experiments including new work development, premieres and new collaborations. Brava Theater, located in the heart of San Francisco's Mission district, is gearing up for its 2010-2011 season with a series of seldom produced works, premieres and innovative outlandish projects. The upcoming season includes a tribute to Stonewall's 40th Anniversary with Come As You Are; the Regional Premiere of Colin Teevan's Iph, an adaptation of Euripides' Iphigenia at Aulis; a radio play with a killer ending directed by Meiyin Wang; a presentation of works by curated international choreographer Joe Goode; the regional premiere of Paula Vogel's The Oldest Profession and a series of New Work Development to combat the female playwright syndrome noted by writer Marsha Norman in the feature American Theater article Not There Yet. What will it take to achieve equality for women in the theatre?
