Crown Center announces their schedule of events for September 2011- August 2012

Pandora Productions 2011-2012 Season bows Thursday evening, September 8, with A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, a tender and beautifully woven tale of love, friendship and coming to terms with one's identity.

Chicago's avant-garde director, Max Truax, helms Henrik Ibsen's forgotten epic Brand.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, called 'a riotously funny and campy variety show' by Next Magazine, and 'a rollicking, wry affair complete with funny political commentary on current events' by Gay City News, will present their Fire Island debut on Saturday, August 27.

Taproot Theatre brings the work of one of Britain's wittiest playwrights to the stage this fall with Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband. Dandies and diamonds swirl in and out of this comedic classic. Sir Robert appears to be the ideal husband, until a choice from early in his career comes back to haunt him. Can he be restored to his adoring wife or will the truth be everyone's undoing? This smart satire sparkles with wit and romance. Written by Oscar Wilde and directed by Karen Lund, An Ideal Husband opens on September 23 and runs through October 22, with previews on September 21 and 22.

The first London production for 90 years of St John Ervine's searing Belfast tragedy Mixed Marriage, first seen at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin, plays for a four-week season from Tuesday, 4 October 2011 (Press Night: Thursday, 6 October 2011 at 7.30pm) at the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre.

Buddy R. Jones directs Paul Rudnick's Jeffrey, starring longtime friends and collaborators George W. Manus Jr. and Richard Browder, for Murfreesboro's Out Front on Main, Inc. for a three week run August 11-28, with shows Thursdays-Sundays at 7:30 p.m.

The Vortex Theatre will present LOOT, by Joe Orton, from September 9 through October 2, 2011 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Loot will be directed by Aaron Worley.
