The acclaimed monthly comedy/variety show is a gay romp through politics - sexual and otherwise - social news, music, skits, and other important life-changing information. Justin Sayre and The Meeting* were nominated for a 2011 MAC Award for Best Male Comedy Performance. The April show will feature a tribute to legendary singer Dusty Springfield with special guests Molly Pope and Gabrielle Stravelli.

According to Talk Entertainment, stage and screen star Marissa Tomei is in talks to join Jeff Daniels in Aaron Sorkin's HBO series: MORE AS THE STORY DEVELOPS. Sorkin's long-developing drama, set behind the scenes at a nightly cable news show. 'Social Network' producer Scott Rudin will reunite with Sorkin for the project, which will be executive produced by both. Filming on the pilot will not begin until later in the year.

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities kicks off its 2011-12 theater season on September 13, 2011, with the Tony Award winning musical Ragtime. The production - a regional premiere of the play's 2008 revival - opens a seven-play theater subscription season that reinforces Arvada Center Theater's standing as one of the area's leading theatrical producers as well as its emerging reputation as a catalyst for collaboration with regional theaters. Matt Logan could easily have rested on his laurels and simply re-staged the second offering of showHOPE's Cinderella, the Enchanted Edition in exactly the same manner as he did in 2010 - it was a magical evening, at the very least, and it would certainly be easier, acceptable even to his most loyal fans, to have done so. Instead, as expected, Logan, one of the region's finest and most inventive stage directors, chose to re-imagine his vision for Cinderella, giving it a more sophisticated presentation and breathing new vigor into the project while tapping heretofore unknown reserves of creativity among his cast and crew - and even himself.
